A Full Body Massage

For all treatments at mdomassage there is always a consultation and discussion before the treatment takes place. For a first treatment this can quite often last upto half an hour depending on your requirements and needs. Non of the treatments I provide are "massage by numbers", each massage is as unique as each client. No two treatments are identical, and this consultation is where I work out what kind of massage you want.

So if each massage isn't the same, what does a "Full Body" massage include? As much or as little as you want.

Some clients will come for a treatment really knowing what they want from it, maybe an hours leg massage, some deep back work, or maybe to work out some knots in their shoulders. But what if you just want a massage, to relax and unwind, to just enjoy the feeling of a massage.

That is fantastic - and often one of the most enjoyable massages, where you just want to be massaged and not worry about it. The most common form of massage in this case is a Full Body massage, but before we can begin we need to think about what you want to get from the massage - do you want to leave ready to curl up and go to sleep, energised and full of bounce, just chilled out and loose or something else?

Also there is a lot of the body to cover in an hours session! For a true full body massage including everything - hands, feet, face, stomach then I suggest you book an hour and a half treatment.

For those who wish to book an hours treatment a Full Body Massage would normally start with the client lying face down on the massage table, after a few slow deep breaths to help relax and get comfortable some nice gentle introductory strokes are made through the towel to say Hello, and welcome you to the massage.

A treatment would commonly then follow this path:

  1. Back of each leg in turn, buttocks if possible (some underwear can prevent this)
  2. Light strokes across the back
  3. Work on the lower back
  4. Upper back and shoulders
  5. Neck and arms, finishing off with a hand massage
  6. Turn over, complete the neck massage
  7. Head massage of the hair
But that is only one treatment, we can taylor the treatment to what you want. Fancy a facial massage, feet, to have the massage finish with your hands, stomach? What happens? You decide!

Full Body Massage Treatment Prices

1 Hour: £35
1 1/2 Hours: £50

These treatments are usually given using a towel for draping, however if you prefer the treatment can be performed undraped.
